As Director of Business Development and Senior E-Discovery Consultant, Mr. Pottinger works closely with corporate clients and law firms to identify and implement effective e-discovery solutions to address any legal matter. Mr. Pottinger built the core of his legal experience in antitrust and complex commercial litigation, as a lawyer at a prominent international law firm. It is this legal experience that makes Mr. Pottinger adept at addressing client needs from information risk management and data retention planning to ediscovery collection and electronic data review.

Prior to joining AdamsGrayson in 2010, Mr. Pottinger practiced law at Howrey LLP. Mr. Pottinger is a 2002 graduate of the Georgetown University Law Center.

Professional Experience

Leading member of legal and management teams that provided antitrust advice and electronic discovery solutions on numerous market-leading transactions involving terabytes of data and millions of pages of hard documents.

Directed the staffing, hosting, management and execution of large-scale electronic discovery projects and interrogatory responses related to several high profile antitrust merger investigations.

Served as e-discovery counsel for a Fortune 200 company during the course of a multi-district class action litigation, advising on document retention, data retrieval, FRCP and court mandated obligations, e-discovery vendor selection, and e-discovery planning.

Represented companies and individuals in domestic and international criminal antitrust and cartel investigations, including electronic discovery and data forensics.

Oversaw document and data retrieval efforts at corporate client locations around the world; worked closely with custodians to facilitate document retention and review.
